It was only recently that they were told of the iPad 3′s quad-core A6 processor, 1,536 x 2,048 retina display, camera of a higher resolution, and 4G LTE chip with both Verizon and AT&T availability.
The purported 8-inch iPad, WSJ was told, will have a downscaled 768 x 1,024 display (160ppi) and a similar 4G LTE chip to that of the iPad 3.
With Apple dominating the tablet market, Amazon, Barnes&Noble, and others are downsizing tablets in an attempt to upsize profits. With this tablet, Apple could reign the entire tablet industry both small and large.
